The Russian Major and minor focuses on the history, culture, politics and language of one of the world’s largest countries. Language instruction is provided from introductory to advanced levels, and students complete courses in literature and culture. Our graduates go on to top graduate programs and pursue careers in national security, international relations, education and translation.

The program offers semester and summer opportunities to study in Daugavpils, Latvia as well as Moscow and St. Petersburg.
