Transfer Student Admissions
The Spring 2024 Transfer admissions application had a final submission deadline of October 1 and has now closed. Admissions decisions will be released to spring applicants via the online Applicant Portal in early-November. The Summer and Fall 2024 Transfer admissions applications are open with a final submission deadline of March 1. Ready to get started on your application? Each year, around 1,100-1,400 students transfer to Virginia Tech from community colleges, two-year colleges, and four-year universities. As a transfer student you can pursue more than 120 academic majors, take part in more than 900 clubs and organizations, and enjoy a top-rated academic and student life experience.
