Graduate Program

Our graduate students obtain world-class research training and develop analytical skills, including big data analytics, in our programs. Our programs are designed to develop professionals, leaders, and innovators. 

 

Faculty

Our faculty are funded by the NIH, NSF, NIFA and DOE to discern biochemical mechanisms of a variety of organisms and are commited to provide the best education possible. 

Undergraduate Program

A degree in biochemistry prepares you to contribute to a variety of life science and engineering disciplines including human or veterinary medicine, pharmacy, agriculture and sustainability, metabolic engineering, and synthetic biology.

 

Research

Our research programs are advancing our understanding of Vector-Borne Infectious Diseases, Drug Discovery, Microbiology, Stress Responses in Plants, Alzheimer’s, Cancer, and Type 2 Diabetes.

Biochemistry Seminar Series
