LICENSE + LAUNCH Office Hours
Over the fall semester, LICENSE+LAUNCH will hold weekly office hours, dedicated to the researcher who wants to learn about the process of commercializing inventions, whether through licensing or launching a startup. Virginia Tech faculty and students can register using this link. Snacks and coffee will be available.
Licensing officers at LINK+LICENSE+LAUNCH will be on hand to answer questions on topics like these:
- Basics of patenting
- Disclosing an invention
- Intellectual property
- Community initiatives
- Startup creation and funding program
Outside the office hours, the LICENSE and LAUNCH teams are always available by email or zoom to answer questions about licensing, patenting, or launching a startup. They also give presentations to departments about these topics.
