Graduate School Commencement Ceremony: Friday May 17, 2013 - 8:30 a.m. - Cassell Coliseum - 2 Hours
University Commencement Ceremony: Friday, May 17, 2013 - Noon - Lane Stadium/Worsham Field - 1 Hour (Students process onto the field and are recognized by college. Individual names are not called.)
Spring Commencement College/Departmental Ceremonies: Friday and Saturday, May 17-18, 2013 - 1 ½ to 2 Hours
National Capital Region Ceremony: Sunday, May 19, 2013 – 1:30 p.m. Center for the Arts, George Mason University

In the event of inclement weather, the University Ceremony in Lane Stadium may be delayed or possibly cancelled. Once the decision has been made, details will be posted on the Virginia Tech homepage, the Virginia Tech News homepage, and Virginia Tech Mobile. In addition, a broadcast e-mail will be sent to all students, faculty, and staff; a recorded message will be placed on the University Weather Line (540-231-6668); and information will be shared with other local media outlets. The announcement will also be posted to the VT News page on Twitter and the Virginia Tech page on Facebook. The university may use VT Alerts depending on conditions.
